3 Days Desert tour to Erg ChegagaDay 1 : Ouarzazate – Agdez – Draa Valley – Zagora
After Breakfast we will get ready to visit Ouarzazate Kasbah des Cigognes (Storks Kasbah ) and a panoramic view of the lake. Continuing towards the village of Agdez to take the off-road tracks by the Tizi-nTinififft Pass “1660m altitude” to arrive in the Alkaid Ali Kasbah. Lunch in local restaurant. After midday we cross Draa Valley with amazing palm plantations and ksours before we arrive to Zagora. Diner and overnight in a Hotel. |
Day 2 : Zagora – Tamegroute – Cheguagua
Morning departure for the excursion to Tamegroute to visit the ancient Zaouia, the old Koranic Library, pottery artisans and the underground kasbah. Road to Tagouenite Oasis by Ait Isfould. Arrive to M’hamid and have lunch. Continue to Cheguagua dunes and enjoy the Sunset. |
Day 3 : Cheguagua – Foum Zguit – Taznakhte – Ouarzazate
Wake up in the morning to enjoy sunrise in Cheguagua Dunes. After breakfast we leave to Foum Zguit passing nomad people tents. Visit to Iriqui dry lake and the desert plateau of Akassia. we will have lunch in the Oasis before returning to Ouarzazate via Taznakhte around 6pm. |
